On Tuesday, October 29, 2019 I reached the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail in Georgia. I’ve completed 1610.4 miles of the AT, that’s 73.5%, in 140 days.
It’s time to say goodbye to the trail for now and figure out what’s next for me. I’ll be updating my blog as time and memory allow. Thanks to my parents Carolyn and Gary for sending resupply boxes on demand and transporting me to various points along the trail. Thanks to my partner Lucy for the emotional support and road trip missions to collect me when I needed a break. Many more thanks to folks who helped me prepare, sent well wishes, put me up in their houses, fed me, and gave me rides to and from the trail. It has been a beautiful journey. Check back in a few weeks for more stories. Thanks for following along.
